Giant right-hander Marin Cilic enjoyed his best-ever Grand Slam performance at the Australian Open, reaching the semi-finals back in 2011, claiming prized victories over then-reigning US champion Juan Martin Del Potro and American Andy Roddick along the way. A steady 2012 ended well for the Croatian too, as he reached the quarter finals of the US open, which could propel him to a good run in Melbourne.
