Ever since 2002, supporters of the Galacticos have been anxiously waiting for their team to come by their 10th title, and with the sort of form they're in right now, the wait just might be over this season.

The story so far

Mourinho's men survived the group stages of the tournament alongside two of the most dangerous names in European football; Ajax and Lyon. But that didn't seem to have any affect because Real were in top form and went on straight into the knockout phase with 19 goals to the good.

CSKA Moscow and APOEL were both torn to shreds with 5-2 and 8-2 aggregate scores respectively.
