Munich make history with 24th title
Bayern Munich were crowned Bundesliga champions for a record-breaking 24th time after they defeated Hertha Berlin 3-1 on 25 Mar 2014.
It's the third piece of silverware in what's already been a record-breaking season for the Bavarian club. In manager Pep Guardiola's first campaign in charge, the Spaniard has steered the 2012-13 treble winners to the Super Cup and the Club World Cup, and seen his side surpass the 50-game record for consecutive Bundesliga games without defeat - a run that included 19 consecutive Bundesliga victories.
Triumph against Hertha also handed Bayern the title with seven games still left to play - the earliest the championship has been won in the competition's history.
