SINGAPORE: Singapore won a silver in the women’s 5—player team event at the 22nd Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships in Hong Kong on Sunday.
New Hui Fen, Shayna Ng, Daphne Tan, Cherie Tan and Jazreel Tan bowled a total of 6,056 pinfalls to secure second spot.
Chinese Taipei took gold with a score of 6,116 while Korea settled for bronze with 6,032.
Cherie Tan and Daphne Tan also received a silver and a bronze respectively for the Women’s All Events.
Singapore are in second position on the overall medal tally, with 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.
The competition ends on 11 September.
