
SINGAPORE: It was a walk down memory lane as the likes of Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman and other former Premier League stars played in the EPL Masters Football Singapore Cup 2012 on Sunday evening.
Four teams took part in the six a—side tournament — witnessed by a crowd of 7,000 fans.
Legends from Manchester United, Liverpool, EPL All—Stars and the Singapore 1994 Dream Team took to the arena at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
EPL All—Stars battled the Singapore Dream Team in the finals.
Boasting players like World Cup stars Frank Lebouf and Dutch giant Pierre Van Hooijdonk, the All—Stars triumphed against the Fandi Ahmad—led Dream Team.
The winning score was 5—3.
Organisers plan to make the event, which has a decade—long history in the UK, into an annual affair.
