Football: LionsXII beat Pahang 3—0 in M’sian Super League

SINGAPORE: LionsXII put in their best performance of the season to defeat Pahang 3—0 in the Malaysian Super League at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday.

LionsXII got the victory, thanks to a debut goal from Faris Ramli, and second half headers from Safuwan Baharudin and Fazrul Nawaz.

Irwan Shah squared the ball for Faris, who tucked it away at the second time of asking.

The home side added to their tally on the stroke of half time — Shahfiq Ghani beating two Pahang defenders but his finish was found wanting.
