Football: S.League All—Stars beat First XI 1—0 in MediaCorp reality show

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp’s 10—part sports reality show, the First XI, ended on a high note at Jalan Besar Stadium on Sunday evening.

The team, also called First XI, was assembled from a nationwide search for amateur football talent.

It took on the S. League All—Stars.

There were plenty of close calls during the match.

But despite their best efforts, the First XI fell to the S.League All—Stars through a goal from Fazrul Nawaz in the 62nd minute.

The First XI’s Louis Phua was named Player of the Season

For fans, it was an evening of action and entertainment, with performances by the cast of The Noose, as well as singers including Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah.
