Netball: S’pore through to finals of Asian Netball Championship

SINGAPORE: Singapore are through to the finals of the Asian Netball Championship after beating Hong Kong 53—27 in the semi—finals on Thursday.

They will meet host Sri Lanka, who beat Malaysia 67—58, in the finals on Friday.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Singapore will host the 9th Asian Netball Championship in 2014.

The Asian Netball Federation (ANF) decided on this after Pakistan, the other nation bidding for the event, pulled out two days before the bid presentation day on August 25.
