SINGAPORE: It was a good outing for Singapore at the 8th SEA table tennis championships in Laos.
A total of 72 players from eight countries including hosts Laos, took part in the seven events at the competition.
Singapore came away with a total of five gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
The men’s team, singles and doublesm and the women’s singles and mixed doubles achieved the gold medals for the Republic.
Among the Singaporeans youngsters who competed were Clarence Chew, Pang Xuejie and Isabelle Li.
