Team Veuve Cliquot wins 2012 Ladies’ International Polo Tournament

SINGAPORE: The Ladies’ International Polo Tournament was back at the Polo Club and this year’s event had added significance — it was also the official qualifier for the international Women’s Championship Tournament (WCT).

Four teams of amateurs and international professionals were in action at the four—day tournament.

Winning top honours was team Veuve Cliquot. They recorded a convincing win over against Jaeger—LeCoultre with a score of seven—and—a—half against three.

In the match for third place, McLaren beat Como Hotels & Resorts with a score of seven against six—and—a—half.
