Former England captain David Beckham has announced that he will retire from football at the end of this season. The 38-year-old, whose professional career spanned more than 20 years and included spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, is calling time just days after his Paris Saint-Germain side clinched the French Ligue 1 title.
