With FIFA's announcement yesterday that it plans to implement goal-line technology to confirm if the ball has crossed the line, debates over such matters may be a thing of the past. We look at some controversial goals that have had fans screaming in anger.

Picture above: Referee Viktor Kassai of Hungary (L) Ukraine's Marko Devic (2nd R) England's Ashley Cole (R) and goalkeeper Joe Hart (C) watch as England's John Terry (2nd L) clears the ball from the goal mouth during their Group D Euro 2012 soccer match at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk, June 19, 2012. Ukraine scored, but the referee missed it and the goal was not awarded. The fact that Ukraine's players were offside only made the issue more complicated.
