Bordeaux confirm sale of Orban to Valencia
Bordeaux confirmed on Monday the departure of Argentine defender Lucas Orban to Spanish side Valencia.
Orban, 25, signed a five-year contract with Valencia after spending just one season at Bordeaux following his arrival in France last summer from Club Atletico Tigre in his homeland.
Orban, who can operate at left-back as well in central defence, made 27 appearances for Bordeaux in Ligue 1 last term.
He also earned his lone Argentina cap in a friendly against Ecuador last November.
Bordeaux have already lined up a replacement for Orban with German full-back Diego Contento expected to join from Bayern Munich on Tuesday, subject to a medical.
