Genoese derby moved to Monday - officials
Serie A officials announced on Friday the rescheduling of the Genoese derby to Monday evening.
The Genoa v Sampdoria clash was set for a Sunday lunch-time kick-off but, following pleas by local officials and angry fans, was rescheduled so as not to clash with another "city-wide event".
It is believed a large, popular market in the Marassi area of the city, where the clubs' Luigi Ferraris stadium is located and which is scheduled at the same time, had prompted pleas to switch the game.
The game will be played on Monday evening at 1945 GMT.
