The result did little to ease either side's relegation concerns, leaving Getafe just two points above the drop zone with Grenada three points above that.

But it did at least provide entertainment for the fans in the Madrid suburbs.

Ciprian Marica opened the scoring for the hosts on seven minutes but Riki equalised for the Andalusians 10 minutes from the break.

Parity lasted only three minutes before Argentine Lisandro Lopez restored Getafe's advanatge.

Moroccan Youssef El-Arabi scored the first of his brace on 62 minutes to equalise but sandwiched between them Getafe took the lead for the third time through Lafita.

El-Arabi had the last laugh, though, with his 77th minute equaliser coming just five minutes after Lafita's goal.
