Kagawa back in Japan starting XI
Japan coach Alberto Zaccheroni on Tuesday recalled forward Shinji Kagawa for his side's must-win game against Group C leaders Colombia, who made eight changes to their line-up.
Kagawa, who had a poor season at Manchester United, was left out of the starting side for the Blue Samurai's second match against Greece, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Zaccheroni also brought in midfielder Toshihiro Aoyama for Hotaru Yamaguchi.
Colombia are already assured of qualification for the next round but even a win for Japan will leave Zaccheroni's side relying on the result from the other match between Ivory Coast and Greece.
Colombia have six points, three ahead of Ivory Coast. Japan and Greece both have a single point, though the Europeans' goal difference is inferior.
