Leverkusen set for Korean whistle-stop tour
Bayer Leverkusen will travel to South Korea for a whistle-stop tour of friendlies in July, the Bundesliga club confirmed on Thursday.
The German club, currently sitting third in the Bundesliga, will begin the short tour on July 28 with a friendly against FC Seoul scheduled for July 30.
The club counts two South Korean internationals among their ranks -- Son Heung-min and Ryu Seung-woo -- and are also sponsored by Korean appliances group LG electronics.
On their return from Asia the club will stop off in Finland, the home country of their coach Sami Hyppia, to play Scottish giants Celtic on August 2 in Helsinki.
