The newly-crowned Europa League champions won 2-0 in the match against Selangor on the outskirts of the capital Kuala Lumpur.

Piotr Trochowski scored the opening goal in the 30th minute, while Diogo Figueiras netted the ball just at the end of the first half.

But Selangor denied the Spanish team more goals in the second half

Sevilla, who claimed a third Europa League title earlier this month after beating Benfica, also played a friendly against an Indonesian team in the neighbouring country last week. They won 4-0.
