Marussia have been in the sport for five years and have not won a single point. They will be running Ferrari engines as their previous supplier Cosworth left Formula One last season.

An unchanged driver line-up from 2013 gives them stability to build on, and aspects of last of season give them team reason to be optimistic: Max Chilton set a new record last year with the most classified finishes in rookie season, while Jules Bianchi impressed with his raw speed.

With the Renault powered cars playing catch-up, the early races are Marussia’s best chance to get some points.
