What do you think of Roman Abramovich's latest show of authority?
Another manager out the Chelsea revolving door.
Roman Abramovich sacked his seventh on Wednesday, since buying the club in 2003.
Just eight months into the job, ex-player Roberto Di Matteo was cut after a 3-0 defeat at Juventus in the Champions League, the culmination of a run of two wins in eight games.
A club statement read that “recent performances and results have not been good enough” and they face “a difficult task ahead”.
Di Matteo also released a statement saying he is "extremely proud” of his achievements, which include winning May’s European Cup and FA Cup.
Former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Rafael Benítez, a man who has inflicted considerable misery on Chelsea in the past, has been almost instantly appointed interim manager.
Benítez was also the man who coached Fernando Torres to the striker’s best years in England.
Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho and Ruud Gullit have expressed their disappointment in the way Di Matteo has been treated.
Is Di Matteo’s sacking and Benítez’ appointment correct?
How will Benítez do?

I'am sad..after bringing in the biggest achievement a few months back, Abrahamnovic still NOT HAPPY??. and just fired di Matteo?. Unfair and unjust treatment !
I m running away from chelsea after supporting and following their achiement for over 20 years, I love the club ....from the time of Dennis , Gullit, Zola, and now Terry and Lampard...
Why cant Abrahamnovic be nice? Di Matteo is such a loyal man to Chelsea after being a player before this? I a so disgusted with this bad attitude..Juz because he is rich..He is so ......
haha what's new for chelsea? He is obviously not the chosen one from the start during the contract negotiations. Imaging after winning the CL and FA cup, the owner still dithering over giving him a contract. He just bow to the fans wishes for the time being and looking for opportunity to fire him and he got the window of opportunity finally. Ask which manager dosen't have a bad spell in the season?
Anyway, Di Matteo still will be richly rewarded after the sacking. And he has no problem looking for another job.
Roman Abramovich had interfere too much since he bought over this club. Empty Promises given to all his ex-manager for not interfering but FAIL. Look at Jose Mourinho, since he arrive at Chelsea, Glory Glory he bring but what happen next?? What does he exactly want???? Fancy Football with lots of Bicycle kick scoring goals? Bringing in Bentiez is not a problem solver, he's not really a good manager after all to manage a club like Chelsea. Don't bring in any manager at the moment & let Roman Abramovich to be the Manager himself and train the Players. Let's watch how far can he bring his Team to & is not easy like he thought.
TY.
