Ibrahimovic to return against Rennes - Blanc
Paris Saint-Germain's injured Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic waves from the stands ahead of the French L1 football match Paris Saint-Germain vs Reims at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris on April 5, 2014 - by Kenzo Tribouillard
Ibrahimovic has been out for just over a month after picking up a hamstring injury in the Champions League quarter-final, first leg against Chelsea.
But he is now set to make his return to the team in Wednesday's match at the Parc des Princes, where victory will hand PSG their second straight Ligue 1 crown.
"He's in form, physically and mentally," said Blanc.
"He's brought a little bit more desire and motivation this week.
"He's finished his rehabilitation programme, he's worked hard, so we'll see him on Wednesday."
With PSG eight points ahead of Monaco and just three matches left to the end of the season, they are almost certain to win the title.
And Blanc said it would be ideal to do so now, in front of their own fans.
"It would be good because there aren't many matches left and it's at home, in front of our fans," said the former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Manchester United centre-back.
"Everything is there for us to do what we have to do.
"This week the players have shown lots of application and motivation, more so than the last few weeks. We're well prepared."
And despite PSG's last eight exit in the Champions League against Chelsea, Blanc feels that adding the Ligue 1 title to their League Cup triumph would make for a successful season.
"We've had a very, very good season but the (Champions League) elimination really affected the players and staff psychologically," he said.
"For me there is no doubt, we've had a really, really good season. Maybe some people don't share my opinion but you have to win the points and noone's given them to us this season."
