Few athletes have suffered as sudden and dramatic a fall as Tiger Woods, whose life was turned upside by a very public airing of his lengthy list of indiscretions. The adulterous ways of the world's top golfer may well have become known to then-wife Elin around Thanksgiving 2010, when Woods had a very bizarre car accident outside his lakefront home in Florida. In the weeks that followed, as women started coming out of the woodwork with salacious tales of Tiger's private life, the world's top-ranked golfer apologized for his "transgressions" and announced a break from the game.
