A dog-fighting scandal was serious bad news for NFL quarterback Michael Vick. The former first overall draft pick star spent 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to his role with Bad Newz Kennels, which operated in secret behind his Virginia house. After his release from prison, Vick resurrected his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, winning the league's Comeback Player of the Year award and earning a six-year, $100 million contract. Last fall Vick acknowledged that with his probation now over, he has become a dog owner again.
