Deschamps said his starting line-up could be the same as that which played in the World Cup quarter-final defeat to Germany in Rio de Janeiro on July 4.

"I have not yet seen how everyone is between those who have been playing and those who haven't," said Deschamps as the France squad gathered at their Clairefontaine base south of Paris.

"We have two matches very close together but the team which starts on Thursday will be close to that which started against Germany."

After facing the defending European champions, France play Serbia in Belgrade on Sunday as they step up their preparations for Euro 2016, which they will host.

The squad named by Deschamps for the games is much the same as that which he took to the World Cup, with the exception of goalkeeper Mickael Landreau, who has retired, and injured Arsenal duo Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny.

Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu have all been recalled.
