Wenlock and Mandeville
Mascots have become an integral part of the Olympic Games. Injecting fun and life into the international sporting event, Olympic mascots often take on the form of animals and occasionally human characters possessing elements that represent the hosting country as well as the Olympic Games.
The mascots for this year's London Olympics are the modern one-eyed characters Wenlock(left) and Mandeville(right). Wenlock is the official Olympic mascot and Mandeville will be the official Paralympic mascot for London 2012.
