Uniform by Adidas
The French wouldn't dream of dressing their athletes in anything less than magnifique. So when we learned Adidas - not Givenchy or Dior - was poised to produce la uniform, we were a little bemused. How wrong we were. Released to coos of appreciation, this most sophisticated of Olympic collections almost manages to out-minimal Armani. It's all elegant monochrome and clean lines. The shape of the woman's cardi-jacket references timeless Chanel and the trainers rock a glossy Louboutin-like sheen. What's not to like?
