Feng Tianwei defeated Kim Kyung-ah in the semi-finals 4-2. She then faced world #1 Ding Ning of China and was unable to pull off the upset, losing 2-4 in a thrilling match.
Wang Yuegu crashed out of the quarter finals after being well-beaten by Japan's Kasumi Ishikawa.
BADMINTON
Gu Juan defeated Australia's Victoria Na 2-0 to advance to the next round.
