Bayern Munich’s Manager, Jupp Heynckes
After leading Bayern to yet another extraordinary victory against Barcelona at the first leg of the semi-finals, manager Jupp Heynckes is inching towards making history by taking the German team to their third Champions League final in four years.
Considering how Heynckes will soon be replaced by former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola at the end of this season, it looks like the 67-year-old is well on his way to going out with a resounding bang.
Admittedly happy with Bayern’s performance, Jupp Heynckes remains humble and focused despite his side’s incredible 4-0 win. “It is important to stick to your tactical guidelines against Barcelona and that is what makes my team stand out this year, "said the German coach.
In light of his team’s recent glory, we pay tribute Jupp Heynckes and his career highlights in this round’s Person of the Week.
