Newly self-declared doping cheat Lance Armstrong again overshadows everyone else, in a week of many sporting plotlines

Like his drug-fuelled victories, the newly self-declared doping cheat overtook every other deserving sports personality this week, as an eager international audience awaited what they already knew – his confession.

But in a nod to fair play, and with a desire to retain the positive identity of sports, we’ve decided to include this week all the contenders alongside Armstrong.
