Alas, Europol revealed this week they are on to “the biggest investigation ever into suspected match-fixing” and that football’s integrity was at stake.
Cheating in ‘the beautiful game’ is not new, but this round of announcements claimed that, from players to referees and officials, all levels of the sport were involved. UEFA Champions League games and World Cup qualifiers have been implicated, and hitting harder in Singapore was the allegation that the massive criminal network is based here.

Right in their backyard !
If this is proven correct the Commissioner of Police and the Minister in charge should resign out of command responsibility. How could they not realise that the world's biggest crooks are in their backyard ? What other such crooks are lurking in Singapore and using Singapore to create chaos around the world?
As a Singaporean I am ashamed to the core.
The Police have been cracking down on minnows of crime in Singapore and many times end up supporting the guilty at the expense of the innocent on simple one to one cases.
You want proof I can give you proof.
