Intervals will be trimmed to nine minutes for the final 12 groups to tee off, allowing world number one Rory McIlroy, the leader by one stroke over playing partner Bernd Wiesberger of Austria, to tee off in the final pairing at 4:19 p.m. (2119 GMT).

That could allow McIlroy to finish just before nightfall, provided the weather holds. Forecasters predict a 95 percent chance of thunderstorms about three hours into McIlroy's round.
