KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesia defeated Singapore 1-0 in an AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 Group B match at the Bukit Jalil stadium on Wednesday.
Andik Vermansyah scored the winner in the 86th minute against a 10-man Singapore side.
Singapore's Muhammad Irwan Shah Arismail was given the marching orders by referee Ali Hasan Ebrahim from Bahrain for a rough tackle on Andik in the 65th minute.
Indonesia, who play Malaysia on December 1, now have four points after two matches while Singapore who beat Malaysia 3-0 have three points.
On Saturday, Indonesia drew Laos 2-2.
