The votes are now in, and we've got the final results of the voting!

In something of a surprise, Roger Federer has taken first place! He won by a small margin, edging Michael Jordan by a mere three votes!

Third place was hotly contested as well, with only two votes separating Muhammad Ali and Pele.

Federer holds a bagful of records to prove his greatness - 17 Grand Slam singles titles, longest time spent at World No. 1 (286 weeks, tied with Sampras), almost a decade in the top three - but it is also his effortless playing style and endless variety of shots that commands worship as a sporting legend.

All four athletes are in record-holders in their respective sports, and certainly deserve to be named among the greatest who ever lived.

TOP FOUR

1. Roger Federer (Tennis) - 49 votes
2. Michael Jordan (Basketball) - 46 votes
3. Muhammad Ali (Boxing) - 33 votes
4. Pele (Football) - 31 votes

Thanks for taking part in the voting everyone! We'll have more fun polls for you soon!
