The 2013-14 season will be remembered for producing one of the most keenly-fought title races in Premier League history.

From Arsenal's stellar early season form and the re-emergence of Liverpool as genuine title contenders to the return of Jose Mourinho and Manchester City's second league triumph in three seasons, the battle at the top of the table enthralled supporters.

But the story of the season stretched far beyond the title race. Managerial sackings, shock scorelines and the rise of young homegrown talent all served to make the season compelling viewing.
