Whether they came from strikers, midfielders or defenders, Chelsea have scored some great goals in 2013.

The best of the bunch, however, came in May this year when David Luiz scored an absolute screamer, hitting the ball into the top left corner of the net with a great first-time curling shot against Basel.

The fact that this kind of a goal came from a defender makes it even more special. Luiz took on Frank Lampard’s pass with a confident first-time shot and scored with his weaker left foot, making it a goal to remember.
