There can only be one goal this season that all Fulham fans - and perhaps even a few Crystal Palace fans - will remember. I'm talking about Pajtim Kasami's 40-yard wonder-volley.

Away to Crystal Palace, many fans were skeptical of the Cottagers' chances against the Premier League newcomers, especially since Fulham's away record has always been less than impressive.

But those fears and doubts were swept aside as Fulham netted four on the road, Kasami bagging the cracking opener. Kasami made a 40-yard run, latching on to Sacha Reither's long ball at full pelt, before taking the ball down on his chest and smashing a wild dipping volley into the net with his weaker foot!

Manager Martin Jol hailed it as one of the best goals he had ever seen, better even than the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Marco van Basten. I wouldn't say the Dutchman was far off.
