Racing-Metro pick Lions half-back pairing
Mike Phillips kicks the ball during a training session, on February 8, 2013 at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France
Fellow Lions Jamie Roberts and Dan Lydiate are also in the Parisians' starting XV.
Welshman Phillips only moved to Racing a couple of weeks ago having been fired by their Top 14 rivals Bayonne at the end of October for allegedly turning up to a video training session drunk -- a charge he denies.
It will be the scrum-half's first start for the club while Irish fly-half Sexton returns to the fold having been on the bench for Racing's 32-8 home defeat against the same opponents last weekend.
Continuing a link of Lions, Welshman Roberts, making a return after almost three months out with an ankle injury, lines up at inside centre while compatriot Lydiate will take his place at blindside flanker.
All four started the deciding third and final Test against Australia in Sydney in July when the Lions romped to a 41-16 series-clinching success.
Racing need to win the Pool 4 encounter if they are to maintain hopes of progressing to the European Cup quarter-finals.
