Remember Radeem Rahman?

Singapore’s first professional mixed martial artist is back from a lengthy layoff and raring to fight.

He has been carded to face Malaysia’s Raymond Tan (2-1) at 30 May’s One Fighting Championship (One FC): Honor & Glory at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

After knocking out his opponent on his debut in 2011, Radeem (1-0) was found to have a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) problem in his right knee. He underwent reconstruction surgery in March last year, with rehabilitation lasting till October.

“Of course I was looking to get back into action,” he told xinmsn. “For me it’s sad because I’ve been out of action a long time. Even my coach told me maybe I’m unlucky.
