Technically, Formula One and rallying are two different forms of auto racing. But Alexander Gustafsson was quick to make his point clear.

After initially comparing the relationship between his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and other mixed martial arts (MMA) organisations to auto racing, he went on, dispelling doubts, “It’s like driving a Ferrari and a Fiat.”

The Swedish fighter is in Singapore to lead celebrations for UFC’s 20th anniversary and to promote their first Singapore event on 4 Jan – and in the process, delivered a counterpunch to opponents and critics.

If UFC vs One FC organised 10 fights against each other in all weight classes, UFC will win 10-0 for sure,
