As big as it is for Southeast Asia, the SEA Games hasn’t been the most squeaky clean, resounding success of multi-sport events across the world. Apart from the moments of national pride it rouses in us biennially when Singaporean athletes win something, the mention of the Games often brings to mind dubious decisions, unsportsmanlike behaviour, and absurd events.

Will Myanmar 2013 be any different?

The biggest controversies usually spring a surprise on us, but based on incidents leading up and pure precedence, we can already locate several potential combustibles.
