Bryan Habana crossed twice for the Springboks with Duane Vermeulen, Willie le Roux and debutant Cornal Hendricks also scoring tries for the hosts, who saw Morne Steyn kick all five conversions as well as a penalty. 

Alex Cuthbert scored Wales' only try, which was converted by James Hook, with Dan Biggar accounting for two drop goals and a penalty in a losing effort.
