Deng Linlin

The three-time World Cup gold medalist and 2009 World Champion was a prominent member of the Chinese team that won gold in the Beijing Olympics. At 1.36m, she was dwarfed by competitors from other countries and later subject to investigations about being underage. The International Gymnastics Federation later confirmed that she was 16 years old (in 2008) and could legally compete.
With little chance of an age controversy this year, Deng will be looking to do even better at the 2012 London Olympics.
