That runner that's just passed you? He's the enemy

We don't mean for you to beat him/ her with a stick, but if you're the lone wolf sort of runner, others around you can be great for improving your runs by challenging yourself. Personally, I don't like to be overtaken. It happens, and I let it go sometimes, but most of the time, I've just got to give chase.

Might sound a little silly, but it can be a little difficult finding motivation for a speed boost and pushing yourself while you're alone, and this method is just another creative way to get yourself going. Try keeping up with that power couple breezing past you like it was nothing. Take offence. Speed up. Grandpa's embarrassing you. What are you going to do about it? Keep it fun, challenge yourself, and push your limits. You'll be surprised to find that you're really more capable than you might give yourself credit for. Just don't get too close, it might leave you looking like a weirdo or stalker of some sort.
