AFP - Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa has joined Manchester United on a four-year deal from German champions Borussia Dortmund for 17 million pounds.

He scored an easy goal against Fulham, in a match which the Red Devils won 3-2, and has been earning praises for how well he fits into the Man U machine.

Kagawa also scored the only goal in a friendly against Shanghai Shenhua on 25 Jul, forcing the ball home from 10 yards out in the 68th minute following a Bebe cross.

'Kagawa was man of the match and I thought he deserved that,' said Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, adding: 'He took his goal well even though it was a deflection.

'Kagawa has settled in really well, he's going to be a really good player for us and I was really impressed with him tonight,' added Ferguson.

But the 23-year-old midfielder has been attracting attention online for more than his ball skills.

His girlfriend, 24-year-old adult entertainer Ameri ichinose, is expected to spice up the list of WAGs at Old Trafford, giving Man U fans something else to look forward this coming season.
