Manchester City have seen the back of Mario Balotelli after the 22-year-old left to join AC Milan after a turbulent two-and-a-half-year spell at Eastlands.

The Serie A giants have agreed to pay around £20million for the player, with some of the fee being made up by bonuses.

The AC Milan president has said that the striker joins on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
