As he awaits his next transfer, David Beckham has decided to train with Manchester United's rivals Arsenal to stay fit

Football superstar David Beckham caused a minor uproar when he joined Arsenal for training yesterday, wearing jersey 29 belonging to on-loan Gunner Marouane Chamakh.

Becks spent much of his career at Arsenal's rivals Manchester United. There were previous rumours he would train with Tottenham Hotspur, another North London club, instead, after recently leaving Los Angeles Galaxy.

Arsene Wenger immediately stated Beckham merely wished to maintain his fitness as he looks for a new club and was not joining Arsenal.
