Debuting for AS Monaco on the left wing in 1994, Henry was named French Young Footballer of the Year in 1996, and helped the French side take the Ligue 1 title in the 96-97 season. By the end of his time at AS Monaco, Henry had racked up 20 league goals in 105 appearances.
